The Linbrook Modern Apprenticeship Scheme

Linbrook Services Limited operates a Modern Apprenticeship Scheme and currently employs sixteen apprentices mainly in the areas of plumbing ,carpentry and electrics.

Apprentices usually range from the ages of 17 to 24 and undertake either two, three or four year courses at NVQ level 2 or 3 in their chosen trades. They spend four days a week with an experienced and competent operative and are allowed one day a week day-release in order to attend college. The majority of apprenticeships lead to a job offer from Linbrook Services Limited upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

All policies and procedures which apply to Linbrook Services Limited employees and operatives also apply to apprentices. For example, all apprentices receive induction training prior to commencement of work and are included on all relevant training, such as regular Tool Box Talks and customer service training. They are also provided with the corporate uniform so that they are easily identified.
